Jayroc Visit and Area Lunch.
On the 27th January 2020 at the kind invitation of Russell and Pat Hand, some 90 members and friends of BDS Areas 27 and 37 met to view their collection of carriages. On such a miserable day outside, we enjoyed hot drinks and much to look at. Even the horses seemed pleased to be in their stables today!
The Area 27 Annual Lunch followed at the The Fox and Hounds, Shawbury where we were really well looked after. BDS National Chairman Neil Wray joined us for the visit and lunch and was happy to discuss the future plans of the Society.
Our grateful thanks to Russell, Pat and all their hard working staff (Nat Toft & co) in presenting a very interesting and wide ranging collection of carriages and horses today.
A collection was made for the Air Ambulance which raised £255. Thank you to everyone who donated.
